HKCEC

The Hong Kong convention and exhibition centre opened in November 1988. Since then, Hong Kong's trade fairs have flourished, establishing Hong Kong as the centre of trade activities in Asia and the venue for important international conferences.

Located in the busy wan chai district of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong convention and exhibition centre (hkcec) is one of the world's most unique and extensive world-class convention and exhibition venues. The Hong Kong convention and exhibition centre has a magnificent aluminium ceiling, inspired by soaring seabirds.

It often hosts grand international events, such as the annual book and comic book fair, the international superstar concert tour, and the WTO conference. The handover ceremony for Hong Kong's return to China in 1997 was also held here, attracting worldwide attention. In addition, the Hong Kong convention and exhibition centre is adjacent to Victoria harbour. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful view of the whole Victoria harbour through a glass window.
